ABOUT ED LIEBZEIT
Ed is an Associate Broker with experience in all segments of the market, both residential and commercial, from small properties to those priced over $40 million. From 2011-2014, he was the President and Chief Operating Officer of Jackson Hole Sotheby’s International Realty, and prior to that was Executive Vice President of the Company. Ed resigned as President and COO to focus on his real estate business and allocate more time to his community involvement.
His business expertise, integrity, communication skills and commitment to customer service resulted in immediate success in the real estate business where he has consistently been one of the leading agents in Jackson Hole every year. Ed was a partner and Board Member of REJH (then the largest locally owned real estate brokerage in Wyoming). Following the sale of that company, Ed joined Sotheby’s International Realty. Ed has represented clients across all property types including some of the largest sales in Wyoming and Idaho. His referral business is the key to his success. He consistently works with clients on subsequent transactions and is kept busy with new contacts generated from customer and client referrals.
Currently, Ed is an active and engaged member of the Jackson Hole community. He is President of the Community Safety Network Board (an organization helping victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and stalking), Chairman Emeritus of the St. John’s Medical Center Foundation, Board Member of Jackson Hole Air Improvement Resources, Vice Commander of the local VFW, Trustee of the Newton Foundation, and Strategic and Management Committee Board Member of his church. Ed is a current member of the Rotary club of Jackson Hole and former director and multi-term President of the Rotary Club Foundation, the Board Chairman of the Jackson Centennial Commission in 2014, and former Director of the Grand Teton Music Festival. He is a former member of several other organizations and boards including the Aspens Water & Sewer Board, the Teton Pines HOA, and the Lower Valley Energy Advisory Board. He is an Advisory Board Member of a high-tech start-up company and former Director of a bank holding company.
Ed and his wife Carole are strong supporters of the community including the Community Safety Network, St. John’s Medical Center, Teton Youth and Family Services, and the Grand Teton Music Festival. They are founders of the St. John’s Hospital Diabetes Education and Outreach Program, Rungius members of the National Museum of Wildlife Art, as well as sponsors to numerous charitable organizations throughout the area.
Ed enjoys many of Jackson’s wonderful offerings including golf, downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, music, the arts, museum, fly fishing, hiking, and biking. He is a member of the Teton Pines Country Club and Huntsman Springs Golf Club.
